Ryan started his flight training at the University of North Dakota, where he earned his CFI, CFII, instrument and multiengine ratings, and his B.S. in Aeronautics. He found Springs Aviation when he needed a couple refresher flights after a hiatus from flying due to a deployment with the Army.

When he’s not flying, Ryan enjoys playing drums, hiking, skiing, and working on projects in his garage.
